Abstract

This paper contained a study of some rhetorical aspects, based on metaphorical classification occurred in some Ahadith of the Prophet (S A W) in the book of Ash-shamailil Muhammadiyya. The research aimed at reducing some difficulties in comprehending specific ideas and meanings of some metaphors in the Ahadith, as well as highlighting the wisdom behind some rhetorical expressions. The paper explored its conclusion by using descriptive and analytical methodology. The paper concluded that the Metaphor of isti ara  in a declarative format  is the most occurred than the original. The words of the prophet (peace be upon him) are more effective in most people than that of the others. Among the method used for preaching by the prophet (peace be upon him) is to address people according to their attitudes and perceptions.
