Abstract

The paper which was entitled as: The Prosodic Services to the Holy Quran” discusses the contradictions of Arabs and their disapproval of the Holy Quran which they considered as a poetry and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a poet, Allah (SWT) proved them wrong and protects His Glorious Quran and His Great Messenger (SAW). The Prosodic works by Sheikh Khalil bn Ahmad (who lived in the 2^nd century AH) differentiates between poems and prose in the literary terms, even though the two of them have similarities in some characteristic features. Therefore, the verses of the Glorious Quran were different with the poetic stanzas. Finally, the contributions of this great Imam solve the problems of early Arabs contradictions toward the Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
