Preceding and delaying is one of the phenomena of the Arabic language, which is obligatory and permissible, prioritization of the subject over the predicate, between the subject and the predicate, between the subject and the object, and in abrogated sentences. The article specialises in issues related to the obligatory introduction of the subject and the predicate mentioned in the Diwan of Ma’awa al – Rijal. The article aimed to highlight the issues of presenting the subject and the predicate contained in the Diwan. In this study, the resarchers relied on the descriptive analytical method, by extracting this phenomenon contained in the studies poems and analysing it grammatically. Among the results reached by the researchers is that the poet considered it obligatory to give the subject precedence over the predicate, and he mentioned it in his poetry morethan others, with approximately 27 responses. Advancement and delay in abrogated sentences are less frequent, approximately 20 times. Then recommendations, suggestions, sources and references.
